HASSAN MUTHALIB (MALAYSIA)
He is a self-taught artist, designer, photographer, animator, writer and director, with a career spanning more than 50 years. He has been involved in animated commercials, short animation films, documentary films, and directed Malaysia’s first animated feature film. He became well-known for the mousedeer animation shorts in the 1980s which are still being watched today.
He has been a part-time lecturer at some leading institutions in Malaysia & conducted workshops overseas in Singapore, Sudan, India, Norway, Brunei and Indonesia. He has curated animation programmes for Germany, Hungary, Singapore and Malaysia, and has been on the jury of many international film and animation festivals.
His writings have been published locally and internationally, some of which can be accessed at academia.edu. He is acknowledged as a Film Historian, the Father of Malaysian Animation & an Asian Animation Pioneer, and is a resource person for local and international scholars. His book, Malaysian Cinema in a Bottle, an analytical history of Malaysian cinema, was published in 2013 with the history of Malaysian animation published in 2016.
MASHA TERESCHENKO (RUSSIA)
Animation reviewer and program director of various animation events and festivals. Graduated from Moscow State University in the 1999th several years worked as a correspondent of cultural department in various Russian publications, after which chose animation as the main specialization.
One of the founders and Program director of Big Cartoon Festival, curator of a number of animation projects, festivals an exhibitions (incl. “Russian animation”, “Ceiling”, “Chinese animation”, “Dutch animation”, special program “Dark side of Russian animation” at Ottawa International Animation Festival, special events for KROK and Suzdal Festivals, etc.)
Now works at Riki development foundation as a creative producer, developing new animated tv-shows.
ALFI ZACHKYELLE (INDONESIA)
He was born in Jakarta, September 22nd 1977. This comic hobbyist studied in visual communication design in Jakarta Art of Institute (IKJ).
Since 1994 - 2013, Alfi Zackhyelle has been active in making comics, performing exhibitions, and teaching comic in art universities and school around indonesia. He also founded comic community such as Graveyardshift studios, United kingdom of dragon and SEKTE KOMIK. He also work as a professional illustrator, art director, character designer, visual consultant and Freelance Visualizer for several corporates, NGO's, and advertising institution such as Mc Cann, Y&R Wundermann, FCB, TBWA, OGILVY, LEOBURNETT, Octovate, Infinity Framework Studios, Bank of Indonesia, Help ev, AR&Co and many more.
End of December 21,2012, Alfi and his wife Mey Zachkyelle from V Cosplay decided to closed AZNF Pictures and founded an Intelectual Property Boutique, KAMPOONG MONSTER.They are focusing on Management IP ( Intelectual Property ) asset (character,environment etc), comic concept, production animation, cosplaying, music, and self character toys. Now Alfi under agreement with one of biggest comic publishing in U.S as Comic Artist.
TESSA MOULT-MILEWSKA (POLAND)
Postgraduate of the Warsaw Film School, FAMO and Art Institute Solo, Indonesia. Director of animated shorts “The Designer”, “Spider and Flies”, “Creatures” (awarded at Sundance London 2016) and documentary short from Komodo Island – “Siwa and Orah”. Currently developing an animated TV series “Sara and the Scarecrow”.
